It is our mission to meet the expectations of our customers by offering them high quality goods.

ALVO was set up 18 years ago, in 1993, in Śmigiel, Wielkopolska region. It was launched under the name Gastrometal and it produced stainless steel products. In 2001, the company moved into new premises and its infrastructure started to increase gradually. In 2005, Gastrometal changed its name to Gastrometal ALVO group, and the core production area became stainless steel products for health care sector and services rendered within the framework of cooperation.
The company staff are ambitious people open to novelties and innovations and flexible in their approach. We operate on the Polish market, as well as on European , Asian and African markets. The company is developing rapidly, thanks to our investments in new machinery, technology and thanks to the improvement of the qualifications of our workers.

The main raw material which we use in designing and manufacturing our products is stainless steel as well as powder coated steel and aluminum. We offer a wide range of standard products, which are
presented in our catalogues. We also produce custom-made goods, tailored to the needs of our customers. We cooperate with many renowned producers on turnkey projects in the field of construction or on modernization of operating theaters.
We also provide our customers with maintenance services and a guarantee of a long lifetime of our products.

In 2001 we introduced ISO 9001:2000, Quality Management System to assure top quality at every stage of the manufacturing process- from design, through plans and specifications, the material and production methods used, to the final control stage of the ready-made product. Moreover, in May 2009, the company updated the system to meet the requirements of EN ISO 9001:2008 and implemented the Quality Management System for medical products, EN ISO 13485:2003+AC:2007.
